Inmarsat-6 F1

Identity for the launch of Inmarsat's I6-F1 satellite. Inmarsat latest satellite is scheduled to launch on December 2022. The new identity for their lunch represent their heritage in the space industry but also adds a new modernised look to the already existing corporate Inmarsat brand.

Inmarsat latest satellite is scheduled to launch on December 2023. The new identity for their lunch captures their heritage in the space industry but also adds a new modernised look to the already existing corporate Inmarsat brand.

The identity consists of both horizontal and vertical logotypes that can be used on the launch rocket. The key animated graphic is made out of 13 curved lines that stand for all the present Inmarsat satellites up in space, the visual is based on the 'satellite pollution' effect – light pollution created by the soaring number of satellites orbiting Earth

To keep the corporate image recognisable and consistent their already existing condensed typeface Inmarsat Infinite is used as a main headline font. In contrast, the body's font, Gill Sans, is kept to a relatively small size to show the scale of the launch rocket and site in perspective.
